Gerald Lynn Reeves

Gerald Lynn Reeves, 63, of Nashville died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born November 2, 1951 in Columbus, IN to Harold William Reeves and Gladys Maxine Hoover Reeves. He was a retired Machine Repairman for Cummins Engine.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Georgia Lynn Hardin Reeves of Nashville; a son, Gerald Lynn Reeves II (Shanda) of Nashville; a daughter, Jessica Lynn Reeves (Daniel) of Nashville; four grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Lynn Reeves, Gerald David Lynn Reeves, Gretchen Lynn Reeves and Jon William Lynn Reeves all of Nashville; his mother, Gladys Maxine Reeves of Nashville; a sister, Patty Kaye Reeves of Columbus; a brother, Darrell William Reeves (Jennifer) of Nashville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; and all of his grandparents.

Gerald was the President of the Hawpatch – Hawcreek Conservation Club in Hope, IN. He was an avid motorcyclist; he also enjoyed hunting, bowling and archery.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Pastor Charles Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Reeves Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 Pm in the funeral home.
