Glenda Tackett Hobbs, 74, of Nashville, passed away Saturday morning, January 9, 2016 in I.U. Health Hospice House after staying in Brown County Health & Living. She was born in Morgan County to the late John and Louella Mable (Ross)Tackett on May 19, 1941.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Frank Hobbs, son Bryan Hobbs, daughters: Tina Hobbs and Linda Taylor, her brother Carol Tackett and her sister Phyllis Fife. She was preceded in death by her daughter Betty Gillespie.
She is also survived by two grandsons: Michael and Jason Taylor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Rd. 135 North, Nashville, IN 47448.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to The I.U. Health Hospice House or the American Heart Associations. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
