James Richard Lutz, age 50, of Nineveh, died Monday at his residence. Born February 11, 1962 in Lompoc, California, he was the son of Warren A. “Pete” and Vonda (Christian) Lutz. He was an Auto Body Technician for Falcone Volkswagen in Indianapolis. He graduated from Westfield High School in the late 1970’s and loved driving remote control cars and flying remote control helicopters as a hobby.
He is survived by his father, of Nineveh, his mother, of Buellton, California; one daughter, Leah Lutz, of Buellton, California; one sister, Lori DeMeyer, of Nashville, Indiana, and his maternal grandmother, Faye Christian, of Buellton, California. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Warren and Ruth (Armstrong) Lutz and maternal grandfather, Eldon Christian.
There will be no services or visitation in Indiana. There will be a memorial service held at a later date in California.
