John Jeffrey Locke

John Jeffrey Locke, 61, of Helmsburg, IN passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born May 13, 1964, in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Robert and Gloria Locke.

John enjoyed music, fishing, CB radios, his YouTube music channel, THEMUSICBOXX; and spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his wife, Julie Locke; his four children, Larrysa (Koby) Locke of Bedford, IN, Allen (Kelly) Cody II of Bloomington, IN, Jennifer Patterson of Martinsville, IN, and Brandy (Chad) Yorn of Paragon, IN; a sister, Stephanie Babcock of Columbus, IN; a brother, Steven Locke of Bloomington, IN, eleven grandchildren, Mason Baker, Alex (Caleb) Wells, Lexi (Gage) Yorn, Connor (Alexis) Yorn, Jenna Patterson, Shelby Yorn, Kylie Skinner, Hunter Cooper, Jaxton Cooper, Trenton Yorn, and Derek Yorn; two great-grandchildren, Zay and Remi Wells; and many other beloved family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Locke; and two grandsons, Damian Patterson and John Wayne Baker.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
