
Lois (Wooden) Robertson died peacefully on October 9, 2012 at Brown County Health and Living Community following an extended illness of Parkinson’s Disease. Born July 4, 1920, she was 92 years old. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Robertson, in 1983.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Kelp and son-in-law, Jim Kelp of Nashville; daughter, Judy Pugh and son-in-law, Steve Pugh of Brownsburg; son, John Robertson of Nashville, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. One grand-daughter, Debbie Lynn Kelp preceded her in death in 1961.
Mrs. Robertson devoted many years in service to the Brown County Community and the Order of the Eastern Star. She also served many roles in the Nashville Chapter of the International Order of Rainbow Girls where she mentored many young women who grew into prominent members of our community.
Mrs. Robertson will be laid to rest alongside her husband and granddaughter in Greenlawn Cemetery at a private family service conducted by Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions, in Lois Robertson’s name, may be made to God’s Grace, 601 N. State Road 135, Nashville, Indiana. God’s Grace is a mission of Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship serving local families.
