Mabel J. Nesbit, 88, of Columbus passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus. She was born on March 7, 1922 to the late Sanford and Mae Walker in Vincennes. She retired from Naval Avionics in Indianapolis and was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Mission by the Sea Church, Alligator Point, FL.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Juliet Hawkins (Allen) of Seymour and two grandsons, Andrew Nesbit (Lori) of Martinsville and David Nesbit of Martinsville, also six great grandchildren, Keeley, Jared, Jenika, Betsy, Piper and Drew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Barney” Nesbit and two sons, David Nesbit and Phillip Nesbit
There will be no visitation a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at the family plot in the Nineveh Cemetery.
