Growing up next door to Marilyn on N. Jefferson St. in Nashville, I have hundreds of wonderful memories of cousin Marilyn. Such a beautiful person, so talented, smart and capable! Eleven cousins next door to each other shared a wonderful time together as we grew up. We will all miss her very much but take comfort in knowing she is now pain-free and at peace... My sincere condolences to her family... Aaron, Hia, the kids and Andy...plus her brother Steve. She departed this life too soon.

Rest in Peace, dear Marilyn...we love you very much!

Marilyn was an amazing spirit. Her presence was so precious even when she didn't say a word. She was so brilliant and hard working. She loved her family, friends and her home. She was an activist when the need arose. Her quiet grace was only matched by her powerful resilience. I am so blessed to have called her friend. I loved her laugh and loved hearing her stories about her grandchildren. She was so proud of her boys. Brown County will never be the same...but it is better because of Marilyn Rudd. Love and prayers to the family.
