Marsha A. “Tony” Dowler went home to be with her husband, Danny, on Friday, June 30. She was born February 5, 1952 in Brown County, In. the daughter of Clyde Morse and Ladonna (Gregg) Morse, they preceded her in death. Tony lived most of her life around Brown County, she grew up in this quiet town of Nashville in a time when riding a horse to the general store was common. These were some of her fond memories. After high school she married Fredie Stiles. They lived on the farm raising crops and their two children, Charles Stiles and Uriah Stiles. Her love of horses came in handy as she spent time working on the horse track. After her farming days, she worked as a waitress at the Country Club of Brown County and State Farm Insurance. She married Jim Schrougham who preceded her in death. They enjoyed working on the farm, raising a garden, and traveling. Jim brought a lot of joy to her and her children. In 1992 she met Danny Dowler and they married shortly after. Danny brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met so the two of them were perfect together. He went home to heaven after 14 years of marriage, but left Tony with happy memories and an extended family that is still very close.
Tony leaves behind a brother, Robert (Brenda) Morse , son, Darren (Dianne) Dowler, grandchildren, Raina Dowler, Shelby (Jake) Percifield, Hannah Stiles, Corey (Becca) Stiles, three great grandchildren, three nephews, Rob, Josh, and Jason, her very good and dear friend, Bill Staples, close friends David and Peggy Welch, and cousins from all over Brown County and beyond.
