

Martha A. (Smith) Johnson, 78, Nashville, passed away April 15 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born February 22, 1933 in Brown County to Emmett Smith, Sr. & Hattie Mae (Gates) Smith, they predeceased her.
Martha graduated from Nashville High School as valedictorian of her class. She was a homemaker & a retired accountant. She was a member of Taylors United Methodist Church, Brunswick, GA.
A grave side service will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Henderson Cemetery, Nashville.
Survivors include, two daughters, Cindy Johnson-Hall (Eddie), Brunswick, GA., Kathy Johnson, Nashville, two sons, Hal Johnson (Karis), Nashville, Philip Johnson, St. Simons Island, GA., &, three sisters, Phyllis Porter(Wade), Florida, Hazel Gorby (Arliss), Ohio, & Betty Johnston(Phillip), Martinsville, three brothers, Emmett Smith(Karen), Nashville, Gary Smith, Florida, & Terry Smith(Jane), Nashville, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson, Sr. on April 7, 1991, her parents, one son, Gregory Dean Johnson, sister, Mary Smith & brother, John Smith.
