I was saddened to read of your loss of Mary Beth. I was fortunate to have worked under her at Southwest VT Career Ctr. She was a fantastic boss: firm but fair, caring and generous, a visionary and great leader. I admittedly had her on a pedestal. I missed her greatly when she left CDC and thought of her often.

Years later I was once asked "Who's your hero?" Without a second thought I replied "My boss, Mary Beth" and gave the reaons above as to why.

With sincere sympathy,

I am proud to call Dr Mary Beth Russell Moore friend and classmate. After many years of not hearing from her we connect again on Facebook and messages a few years ago. It was like we were young again. She was always there for advice and to remiss with. I will miss hearing from her but I will still talk with her.
I know she loved her husband and family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
Wish I could could have seen her one more time. Until we will be together again may she rest in God's hands in peace.

We only were able to see Mary Beth a few times at reunions and perhaps Christmas gatherings at Carol's home. I always admired Mary Beth because of her kindness and love for history. Condolences and special memories to family.
