Max began his humble journey through life on the Taggart family farm on Mount Liberty Road, born to parent Earl and Marie Taggart in 1936. He grew up on the farm along with his brother and five sisters.
Max leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Betty, and his three children; Randy, Julie, and Andy.
Max was dedicated to his family and worked hard to ensure they were taken care of and never wanted for anything. He always put others ahead of himself and never had a harsh word to say.
He was a truly humble, kind, and caring man, that set an example on how to live a good life, and how to treat others.
I am overwhelmed with pride to say he was my father.
He will truly be missed and fondly remembered.
