
Norma Jean Moore, age 85, of Bloomington, formerly of Nashville, died Saturday at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born May 5, 1932 on Clay Lick Road in Brown County, she was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (White) Followell. She retired as a house director and house mother for Alpha Epsilon Phi social sorority at Indiana University. She along with her husband, Bert Moore ran Bert’s Bait and Tackle in Belmont for 20 years.
Norma is survived by one daughter, Cathy Moore Williamson, of Bloomington, one son, Steve (Joyce) Moore of Alpena, Michigan; grandchildren, Hayden (Christie Crippen) Williamson, of Brown County, Michael (Angie) Moore, of Michigan and Caitlyn (Jeremy) Kortman, of Alpena, Michigan and two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Noah Moore, both of Michigan.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Connie Moore Galyan, one infant son, Harvey Edward Moore, father, Earl Followell, mother Dorothy (White) Followell Skinner, grandson, Randy Moore and infant grandson, Jordan Moore.
Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Duncan Cemetery. Burial will immediately follow the services. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.
Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
