

Peggy L. (Sipes) Harden, age 80 of Nashville went to party in Heaven with her Lord and Savior on Saturday February 23, 2013 at the Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville, where she has been loved and cared for over the last 6 years, as she battled Alzheimer’s Disease. Peggy was born to Clarence and Beulah (Scales) Sipes, on August 20, 1932 in Paynetown, Indiana
Her loving dedicated husband, Semmie, whom she married on October 16, 1953, had a lifelong love affair that will last into eternity, was at her side as he has been for over 59 years. She was also surrounded by her children, Larry and Beth and her husband Tim, her sister Sharon Sowder, husband Ted, and nephew Matt.
Peggy loved life and lived it to its’ fullest. Peggy had a very close family life and was able to enjoy many family get togethers over the years. They partied, traveled, worshipped together, and they laughed… a lot. Peggy had a successful dress shop in Nashville named PegAnn’s Wardrobe that she started with Alice Ann MacDonald. It was her passion and she enjoyed it immensely.
Peggy is survived by her husband Semmie, son Larry (Carrie) Harden, daughter Beth (Tim) Rariden, grandchildren Nathan and Heather Rariden, brother Bob Sipes, and sisters Betty Pate, Jo Ann Jacobs and Sharon Sowder.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 26th at 11:00 A. M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, Nashville. Interment will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Brown County. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, February 25th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. & one hour prior to the service on Tuesday

The family wishes to thank the staff of Brown County Health & Living for the unbelievable care Peggy received during her stay there.
