Phyllis Kay Woods, 81, of Nashville died Saturday, August 25, 2018 in I.U. Health Hospice House. She was born September 25, 1936 in Indianapolis to William C. Robertson and Ruth M. Spilker Robertson. She was retired from NSWC Crane.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Walls of Nashville, Carole (Rod) Parker of Franklin, Darla (John) Gartner of Trafalgar, and David (Cyndi) Woods of Nashville; a daughter in law, Tammy Woods of West Virginia; two brothers, William (Eileen) Robertson of Columbus and Robert (Jeanettee) Robertson of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jackie D. Woods; a son, Allen D, Woods; and a granddaughter, Natalie Woods.
She was a member of Bucks and Does Square Dance Club; she enjoyed spending time with her family; playing Euchre at the Senior Center; and making Crafts.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August, 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Mick Keller officiating. Burial will be in Brown County Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM also in the funeral home and on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
