Rodger Jones

Rodger Allen Jones, 45, of Nashville passed away May 29. He was born November 12, 1967 in Beech Grove to Larry Richard Jones & Sharlene (Hayes) Wall. Rodger was employed by AGM as a Project Engineer. He enjoyed rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, & camping. Rodger also enjoyed watching Nascar & Indy 500 Races. His passion was coaching his kids soccer teams from age 4, he was a coach at Baxter YMCA, St. Francis & Center Grove Soccer Clubs. He coached his son’s soccer team, “Beast Mode”, to Wide World of Sports at Disney World where the team placed in the top 15 of 300 teams.

His service will be held Saturday, June 1 at 7:00 P.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home with Rick Colglazier officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00-7:00 P.M.

His survivors include his wife, Corine, Indianapolis, children, Ariana, Braxton, & Colton Jones all of Indianapolis, mother, Sharlene (David) Wall, Nashville, father, Larry (Donna) Jones, Florida, sister, Tammy Fish (Dan Shipley), Nashville, nephew, Bryce R. Fish, mother in law, Erika Tesch, aunt, Emma (Ed) Merrick, sisters in law, Christine Cummings & Caroline (Donnie) Pate, brother in law, Curtis Tesch. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline Hayes Schoults, Norman Hayes, Dorothy & Jess Jones & father in law, Opa Otto Tesch.
