I worked with Dr. Stouder for several years in the Endoscopy Unit at Columbus Regional Hospital as a RN. I have so many wonderful & fond memories of Dr. Stouder. He was definitely one of the most caring and dedicated physicians I have ever worked with. He would do anything for his patients and their families. He also cared deeply about all of us nurses and staff. Dr. Stouder and Donna opened their beautiful Brown County home to us for Endoscopy gatherings & celebrations and we had such a great time. I will cherish all that he taught us and did for us. Prayers for you Donna & family.

Due to a timing conflict I regret I will be unable to attend the services for Stephen. Steve and my deceased brother, John, grew up together and were the very best of friends. Dr. Charles was always after both of them due to their youthful behavior. I grew up with Conelly and John in Gosport, Indiana and together we set the good example for our younger brothers. I especially remember when John would bring me one of Stephens poems and asked me for an interpretation. Steve was way above our intellect. Steve had a wonderful career and we will miss him. To all of you, my love and condolences.

I worked with Stephen some at St. Vincent Hospital in the early 70s. He was always pleasant and helpful. Later I had the privilege of spending some social time with him and his wife through a shared friend. Stephen was funny and interesting, but most importantly he was kind to all those around him and always offered his best. My sincere sympathy goes to his family

I loved Uncle Steve, as I called him. He was the guy who set the standard for achievement for me. He took Scotty Meyer and me on a tour of the School of Medicine , Bloomington. Scott and I got to see everything that could be preserved in a jar of formaldehyde while sporting big lab coats as if we were medical savants. I think we were all of 7 or 8. Appreciate that I sat with him and Donna at my brother`s service. He will leave a hole in the world......
