

Wilma Louise Stewart, age 82, of Nashville, died Friday morning at the Brown County Health Care Community. Born October 25, 1929 in Brown County, she was the daughter of James Millard and Dessie May (Mahan) Joy. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a faithful member of the Bean Blossom Mennonite Church.
She is survived by seven daughters; Sherry (Don) Overholser, of Brown County, Margaret Carol Stewart, of Nashville, Anna (Tom) Sprague of Freetown, Brenda Badger and Teresa “Terry” Stewart, both of Nashville, Margie Miller, of Ellettsville and Cynthia (Jeff) Moore, of Brownsburg; two sisters, Betty Bright and Margaret Allender, both of Nashville; five grandchildren, Scott (Alicia) Miller, Michelle Miller, Lyndsay (Darrell) Kendrick, Josh Moore and Samy Badger and three great-grandchildren, Melody Miller, Isaac Miller and Shelby Kendrick. She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married November 25, 1945, James E. Stewart, on January 22, 1998, one brother, James Joy, one infant brother, Lee Joy, one sister, Maxine Hall and one great-grandson, Coleman Miller.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Bean Blossom Mennonite Church with Pastor Gary Link officiating. Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
