I am so lucky to have such a big group of lifelong friends. Adam was/is one of those types of friends. He was that kind of person that you could see the kindness in his eyes. When you were with him, you had his attention and knew that he was listening. No matter how much time we would spend apart, when we were together, we never missed a beat and picked up right where we left off. In our high school years, me and Adam were a part of a close-knit group of friends. We went on to become college roommates and shared so many great experiences as we were finding our way in this world. After college Adam worked at my brother’s music publishing company on music row for a couple of years. In later years, whenever we spoke, his eyes would light up as he shared experiences he was having with his son Grayson. My heart aches for Adam, Grayson, his family and our extended lifelong friends family. This is another passing that is hard to reconcile. So many in shock as this was so sudden. All I know is that with a group of lifelong friends like what Adam and I have, there is so much love and support. Of which, I am so thankful.

It is times like these that you have to appreciate what you have and who you love. You have to make it known how much you care as often as possible.

Adam was a great friend. He would listen to you when you needed to share something. He was a great dad too. He was always there to support Grayson. He worked hard to be a good role model for him each and everyday. I knew if it was the weekend or a day off, he'd likely be doing something out and about with Grayson, whether it was scouts, canoeing, or just throwing the football around.
I always enjoyed catching up with Adam to hear about the things he had been up to. A true friend that would ask for help if he needed it and give help in return. He will be missed greatly.

Adam was a gem.  He was smart, handsome, and had the best taste in music. He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor.  He was the best dad and loved Grayson with all he had. 
I will miss our conversations. I will hold them in my heart always. 
Until we meet again sweet friend. 


I will always remember Adam as a very kind hearted person; willing to help you out at a moment’s notice. When he was a little boy, still in diapers, he would see me drive up in his driveway through a picture window and reach up his arms on the glass and yell out “deve, deve” (that was me). He always had that kind of warm welcome for me every time I saw him throughout his life. Grayson is lucky to have him as a Father and to have learned what it is to be loved by such a Father! Adam always enjoyed a boat ride and I’m sorry I can’t give him another. Have a safe voyage Adam...much deserved.
