I met A.J. in the downtown Kiwanis Club. I was impressed by his cheerful attitude, sense of humor and willingness to continue to work on Kiwanis projects that benefited youngster. He was a leader in our playhouse program as well as our bike renovation program. He will be missed.

It was my pleasure to work with A.J. (and also Ralph and David) Levy on many occasions as recording engineer at WSM for the store's radio commercials. I was even privileged to do a signature tag line on most of the spots. A.J. was an unforgettable guy...very funny...and often unpredictable. I always looked forward to our production sessions, and remember them fondly at this time of sadness for friends and family. A. J. Levy added an interesting dimension to my life.
