Alice Owens Williams

Alice Owens Williams, 91, of Brentwood, TN, passed away peacefully March 15, 2022. She was raised during the Great Depression and always valued the importance of education, graduating University of South Carolina Master’s in science in 1982 and completing her Certified Public Accountant degree in 1987.

Alice had a distinguished career in hospital administration and finance within the Nashville, TN area including owning her own CPA firm until 2011. She was born in Humphrey, Arkansas to Frank and Maire Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester E Williams, her brothers Frank Edward Owens and Ralph Owens. She is survived by her two children Deborah Cavanaugh of White Bluff, TN, and David Williams of Lakeville MN along with her grandchildren Ashley Hulan and Shelly Harden, Russ Williams, Mason Williams, and Laura Williams and two great grandchildren, Allie Groff, and Sadie Hulan.

A celebration of Life will be held Friday March 25, at Crievewood Baptist Church 480 Hogan Rd Nashville, TN 37220 with visitation from 9 – 11 am and services following at 11 am. The family request memorial contributions be made to her church in Alice’s name, Crievewood Baptist Church www.crievewood.org.
