Alice Woody, age 74 passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Survived by loving husband, Howard Woody; daughters, Barbara (Allen) Pitts Jr. and Jan (John) Rutledge; sister, Pearl Douglas and brother, George (Kay) Gatlin; four grandchildren, Kyle and Hannah Pitts, Olivia Musgrove and Karli Rutledge. Alice loved her family and friends with all her heart, and allowed her Christian beliefs and values work through her in her daily life. Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, August 10th at four o’clock in the afternoon, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with a gathering of family and friends from ten o’clock in the morning Wednesday until the time of the service at four o'clock.
