Alma Jean Childress Phillips, age 94 of Donelson, TN passed away Dec 29, 2016. She was born Dec 21, 1922 in Charlotte, NC to the late Jack Walter Childress and Mary Alma Irvine Childress. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Aubrey Phillips; and brother, William Irvine Childress. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hamilton (Jerry); son, Bill Phillips (Desy); son, Buddy Phillips (Patsy), grandchildren, James Carver (Gina), Tony Phillips (Erika), Cory Scurlock (John); and eight Great-Grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
