Alvah Stephen Brads, 62, of Nashville, TN, passed away February 23rd, 2020. Alvah was born in Lexington, VA on March 7th, 1957. He grew up in Germantown, OH and attended First Baptist Church there. He graduated from Valley View High School in 1975, where he excelled in basketball.
Alvah worked most of his life in the envelope industry, beginning with Carrollton Envelope in West Carrollton, OH and retiring from Atlantic Paper Company. He took pride in his work. Al enjoyed playing pool, movies and NASCAR. He was a quiet man with a surprisingly dry sense of humor.
Alvah is survived by his wife of (19) years, Vivian Brads, his daughter Mackenzie Smith, his step-daughter Trina Banks and his grandchildren and step-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Judy Brads, Charlie Brads, Zola Fisk and Paul Brads, as well as their spouses and children and family & Friends in Dover, DE. He was proceeded in death by his loving parents, Rev. C. Marvin and Della Brads.
