

Amanda Kaye (Ingram) Francis, age 40, of La Vergne, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, 20 February 2023, at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee. Amanda was born in Dickson, Tennessee, and was adopted by Gerald and Alice (Johnson) Ingram soon after her birth on 10 June 1982.
Amanda graduated from Glencliff High School, then worked for The Kroger Company for several years. Her current employer was Amazon, Inc. She married the love of her life, Joshua Kim Francis, on 23 March 2013, in Nashville, Tennessee, and together they built a family. Their family motto was, “We’re the Francis family and we never give up.” Amanda was a Christian and truly loved her friends without judgment. She was also fiercely proud and protective of her family. Her last act of heroism and selflessness was as an organ donor.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Wayne Ingram; father-in-law, Randal Kim Francis and great-niece, Madelyn Fay Garcia.
Survivors include her husband, Josh; stepdaughter, whom she loved as her own, MacKenzie Grace Francis; adored daughter, Olivia Kim Francis, all of La Vergne; beloved mother, Alice, of Nashville, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Brenda (Cowan) Francis of Nashville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Mindy (Tucker) Herrera and husband, Robert Harper, Jr. of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; niece, Emily (Herrera) Garcia and husband, Juan Garcia of Houston, Texas; nephews, Jesse Herrera, III and Aidan Luis Herrera, of Mount Juliet; brother, Michael Wayne Ingram of Clinton, Tennessee; stepbrother, Randall Ingram, wife, Terri and their children of Columbia, Tennessee; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amanda's family have chosen to give the gift of life to others through organ donation, They know that her light will still shine on through the others she is helping. They would also like for everyone to consider organ donation in Amanda's honor. A gathering of family and friends for Amanda will be held Saturday, 25 February 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn, Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a graveside service in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Sermon on the Garden at 3:00 PM.
