Andrew was a machine operator in an industry warehouse. He spent his money wisely, always paying his bills so he would owe no one, and was saving towards his dream purchase - a fire-engine red Camaro. Having an affection for animals, Andrew once considered the possibility of becoming a veterinarian. Andrew enjoyed eating (especially spicy foods), video games, and his grandmother’s coconut cake, to name a few. A big sports enthusiast, he loved basketball, the Green Bay Packers, LSU…and Michael Jordan! Andrew collected all kinds of sports jerseys and NIKE shoes. He has innumerable pairs of NIKE shoes – some have never been removed from the box. Once Andrew returns home and removes his shoes, he cleans them to keep them looking new.
Andrew inherited his mother's curly hair, and, having the ability to make people laugh, was always the “light in the room”. He loved all family gatherings, especially the big family dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Above all, Andrew will be remembered for his love of people, especially his family and his friends. He had a big heart and was always extending a big smile or an affectionate hug. Today, he rests in the arms of his heavenly Father, reunited with those who have gone before him and awaiting the arrival of those he holds dear.
Andrew is preceded in death by his aunt, Constance Elissa True. He is survived by his mother, Angela Williams; by his father and “second mother”, Bryan and Dana True; his sister, Cortney Welch; step-siblings, Austin Gilley, Kali Kosmack, and Reagan Gilley; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Cole; his paternal grandparents, Gerald R. and Sheila True; an aunt, Crystal Cole Chitwood; his companion pitbull, “Oreo”; and many extended family and friends.
