Angela Marie Bigham Mofield

Miss Angela Marie Bigham Mofield, was born on July 17, 1949 in Bessemer, Alabama and grew up in Hueytown, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Annie Dell Townsend and Garner Atwood Bigham. Her gentle soul departed from us July 24, 2011 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, TN telling the Lord, "I'm ready". Angela attended Hueytown High School and later took Medical Assistant classes which allowed her to work at various nursing homes doing what she was best known for, spreading her love and being a phenomenal caregiver. She enjoyed being with family and friends, browsing through yard sales, cooking, listening to the Gaithers and laughing and having fun. Angela leaves behind 2 children, Portia K. Beene and Randall M. Mofield, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Mariah M. Johnson, Alphonso Beene, III and Kashawn A. Beene; siblings, Freida Knight, Roger Bigham, Pamela Dickinson and step-sister, Mary Ann Lovell; many other family and loving friends to cherish and forever remember her memories. "No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why". Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 in Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Felder officiating.
