Anita Louise Dungan, age 90, passed away on May 29, 2021. She was born on August 7, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by husband, Charles R. Dungan, Sr. Anita is survived by daughter, Deborah Rock (Robert); grandson, Kevin Rock (Danielle); granddaughter, Rebecca Rock Crowder (Roy); great-granddaughters, Alexis Rock, Cecilia Crowder, and Miriam Crowder; step-great grandson, Keith Anderson; stepsons, Charles Dungan, Jr. (Debbie), Jeff Dungan (Debbie); step-grandchildren, Matt Dungan (Amy), Andrew Dungan (Audry), Lori Miller (Brad), Brooke Cavanaugh (Jason), Brittany Dungan, Jessica Hiltbrand (Trevor); and 23 step-great grandchildren.
Anita worked as a claim’s adjuster for 30 years at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from ten o’clock until noon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place immediately following visitation in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
