My dad was there for me my entire life, and somehow, even now, he still is. He was a dang good man. He loved his family, loved his friends, and treated people right. He was the kind of man who could lay his head down at night knowing he hadn’t taken advantage of anybody. His word meant something. His character meant something. And anybody who truly knew him knew exactly what he stood for. I’m grateful beyond words to have known him, but even more grateful to be able to call him my father. 
Over the years, he was many things to me , a provider, protector, teacher, boss, guide, friend, and Dad. Because of him, I never knew what it felt like to grow up without a father’s love. I never had to question whether I mattered to him, and I never had to wonder if he was proud of me, because he made sure I knew. Through every phase of my life, childhood, hard-headed teenage years, and into adulthood one thing never changed: I never wanted to disappoint my dad. Not because I feared him, but because I respected the man he was and the values he lived by. He taught me what was right by the way he carried himself every day. The last ten years gave me something I'll always treasure: getting to see him become "PopPop" to Joey and Bruce. Watching him with my boys let me see pieces of the father of my youth all over again. It reminded me how important it is to be present, supportive, and to slow down long enough to make lasting memories that matter.  He absolutely adored his grandsons. 
My Dad worked very hard at his business, on his family, and on his faith. He was a true friend to many and such a genuine man.  He without a doubt left this world better than he found it.  I can only hope to do the same. Although I believe his story stopped before it was through, his legacy is the happy ending and I hope he is at peace knowing it will carry on through me and through my boys. If the measure of a man is the life, family, and legacy he leaves behind, then my Dad was an overwhelming success.

So happy that I knew you then and even more grateful that I still knew you now. To my longtime friend Tony Lewis.

This is for you. You could not have found a better man for a husband. Tony and I have had a lot of good times in our life and I will miss him. On the same note I don’t believe he could have found a better wife than you have been. You and he raised two of the finest men that I know. I know we don’t talk as much since we got older but I loved him and love you and your boys very much.

I've been trying to find the right words to say about my uncle... but I keep falling short.
There just aren't enough words to truly describe how amazing he was.
He was one of the funniest men I've ever known
—always making people laugh without even trying. He had a heart of gold, a deep love for God, and a way of making everyone feel seen and loved.
He loved his family and friends with everything he had. He was the kind of person who showed up, who cared deeply, and who left a lasting impact on so many lives.
He had a love for all things HOT and spicy, I think that's where I got it from and I'll never forget how he'd trick me into eating deer meat like it was nothing. He was also the only person I ever trusted to go horseback riding with-something that will always be special to me.
He was my momma's only sibling... her baby brother... and that alone breaks my heart in a way I can't fully put into words.
An incredible man. An inspiration to so many. A life that will never be forgotten.
You will truly be missed more than I can ever imagine.

Lori, I am so sorry to hear about Bo’s passing.   When he worked at Lee Company, he was always one of my favorites. Always had a kind word and a smile on his face.  And, bless his heart, he would always run a late call for me when no body else would.  After he left Lee Company, we would still call and check on each other a time or two throughout the year.   My thoughts and prayers are with you, your boys and family.  “Bo”will be greatly missed.

To know I’ll never again hear “Hey Cuz!” followed by a big smile and a bear hug leaves me with a stunning grief, but to think of the pain others in the family are grappling with breaks me. People like Tony are rare. He was an amazing joy-bringer, true friend, honest, dependable, hard-working, funny, and family-loving. You felt how much he cared for you and you knew it was genuine. The way he welcomed me into the family  made me feel like he had always known me. That kind of love and acceptance meant the world to me.

To Lori, Drew, Adam, Sissy, Bobby, Brenda and all the other family members who had the great blessing of loving and being loved by Tony longer than I did, my heart is with you. May God give you strength and comfort.

Man, where to start… I’ve known Tony almost my entire life. We were inseparable in both school and beyond.  He was a brother to me.  We truly loved each other and told each other after every phone call.  He was just one of a kind. He knew how to fix everything and I often searched his brain  and was never disappointed.  I remember him and Dan Slagle  installing a shift kit in my car and later on carpet. The two of them would go joy riding in my car while I was at work. I remember him riding with me every weekend to go to Chapel Hill to see the ghost..  He always came to my summer parties.  He loved the hottest chicken out there and was always up to that challenge. He spoke of Lori and his boys highly and often. He was not afraid of work and helped my family and me many times. He tried his best to have me cook a steak directly on the coals which I never did but it’s coming . He was that friend that would drop anything to help you in a second. He had unconditional love tor his friends and family. He never complained or had a bad word on anyone.  I wish I could be half the man that he was. Sure we had our differences. He loved his Reds more than life and I was a Braves fan.  We often spoke of going to a game one day.  Our very last conversation involved me trying to fix an ice maker and he fixed it over the phone.  I will truly miss our texts and calls, it will never be the same. Tony, Dan, and me were the three 
Amigos, always together.  I’ take great comfort to know that he’s in the loving arms of Jesus as a saved man.. We that are left here are selfish wanting him with us but he has reached what everyone trains for every day! Lori and family just know this. He made a difference in so many lives and is now on top of the world and knowing him as soon as he met Jesus he said I’m here to fix the A/C!  Godspeed my friend! Such and honor as a pawbearer to help carry you home.

I remember my mom and dad Arthur & Betty Upchurch telling me about Tony Lewis when they we're going to Bethlehem Church of Christ Church & they would get Tony & Drew to work on there Centra heating & cooling system and I met them and they we're so nice. 

And throughout the years I started letting them service our central heating and air as well and as the year's have passed " they became more than just people who took care of our central heating and air system" they became friends "and actually family cause they are just a awesome family & we love them so very much  & we are definitely going to miss Tony no doubt about it.  Cynthia and I have always enjoyed seeing them throughout the year's & this evening & in the day's ahead it's truly going to be hard knowing that we want be seeing Tony anymore & our thoughts and prayers are with the Lewis family R.I.P TONY LEWIS.

Our friendship began when we moved from Oklahoma to become the Minister of the Bethlehem church of Christ in Murfreesboro. It was a blessing to worship with Tony, Lori, Drew and Adam. Even after we moved in to another congregation Tony and family remained true friends. I can’t count how many times we had to call Tony to make that house call to repair our Heat or Air unit. He never left us in waiting . I know his plate was full but he always came. His last visit was not to long ago. It was always great to reconnect and just talk about our kids and what was going on in our lives. God blessed us to be able to call Tony our friend. We will certainly miss him. So blessed to call him our Brother in Christ and we hope to meet up with him again one day.  To Lori and the boys and their family we hope you know that our hearts break for you but know we are here if we can help in any way. You are all in our hearts and prayers.

So sorry for the Loss of Tony, he was definitely a gift to everyone that knew him,  with friendship and his Heating and Air he helped so many, Tony and I graduated together in 1982 and in 2009 was the first time seeing him since 1982, I was at Wendy's on Harding Place when he came up to me and said Hey Stanley, I didn't recognize him off the Bat, but after he said Tony Lewis, it hit me, we talked a little caught a little and I mentioned he alt to get on Facebook and catch with all if us from Antioch, not to long after that he had joined, he started coming out to some of the Phoenix Rising shows to see another classmate play, Bob Kimball, he brought Lori his wife, I met her, and later on I got to meet Drew and Adam, Tony and his 2 boys have helped My mom and me with AC/Heat problems, I didn't know Brenda his sister but we met through Tony at a Journey Tribute Band Show, I still laugh when I asked him to go, he said I dont like Journey, LOL, Tony will be missed by all of us, RIP Tony

We are so saddened to hear of Tony's passing. Although we know there are no words to ease the pain, know that we are keeping you all in our prayers for God to give you strength during this unimaginable loss.  
 He was always there for me in any time of need; I considered him a true friend. I will cherish my memories of time spent with him hunting, fishing, and playing paintball games. He was truly a man's man.
