

Arthur H. “Buddy” Kirkpatrick, Sr., 90, of Nashville passed away January 2, 2021. He attended Cohn High and worked for Innophos for 42 years. Buddy is a veteran of the Korean War where he served and played sports with the special services in Europe.
Buddy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He attended Glencliff United Methodist Church where he has been a member for over 50 years. He always had a smile and was ready to make a new friend.
Buddy was an active Boy Scout Leader. He was an avid baseball player and loved all sports, as well-loved traveling with his family and dear friends. Buddy was a great man who everyone enjoyed being around. Papa was proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Martha L. King Kirkpatrick; his parents, sister and stepbrother. He is survived by his children, Connie (Homer) Carter, Arthur H. (Linda) Kirkpatrick, Jr., Sherrie (David) Kimbro; grandchildren, Hunter Kirkpatrick, Derek (Meghan) Kimbro, Reece Kirkpatrick; Two great-grandchildren, Dax and Cam.
A Private Celebration of Life Service will begin at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Entombment following in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum. The service will be streamed live on Facebook @Woodlawn-Roesch.
Pallbearers Hunter Kirkpatrick, Derek Kimbro, Reece Kirkpatrick, George Holzwart, Terry Holzwart, Mark Baron, David Kimbro, and Homer Carter. Honorary Pallbearers Sam Finney, Tom Edging, Innophos employees and Hertz Limited Edition Drivers. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for him at Aspen Arbor/NHC Cool Springs and Alive Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Buddy’s name may be made to Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts of America and Alive Hospice.
