Barbara Jo Bentley

Barbara Jo Bentley, 86, of Lebanon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born in Nashville to the late Joseph and Doye Sutton Sidler. She was of the Christian faith and was a dedicated housewife. She loved to cook and eat, and was always taking care of others, especially her 2 sons. She enjoyed traveling to Florida as well as taking train trips across the country.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kelley Bentley, Jr., and brother, William Sidler.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, John Kelley Bentley, III (Lori Isom), and Joseph F. L. Bentley (Maria del Carmon); and grandchildren, Helena Krusec, Audrey Bentley, and ReyAndres, Leonardo, and Christian Gonzalez.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 6:00PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home located at 1101 Lebanon Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00AM. A graveside service will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
