Barbara was born on December 8, 1946 in Franklin, TN, the daughter of Preston Ventrus and Lillie Mae Howell Wright. Her parents; one son, William Jay Finney; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Cloyd and Richard Sawyer precede her in death.
Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Finney Brown; son-in-law, Lynn Brown; grandchildren, James Dylan Brown, Slader Wade Brown, and Willow Brenna Finney; one great grandson, Waylon C. Brown; and sisters, Patricia Wright, Faye Cloyd, and Mary Jo Sawyer.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from one o’clock in the afternoon until three o’clock. A Graveside Service will follow at three o’clock in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Celebrant Jimmy Carver will officiate.
