Barbara Lemen Hosto passed away in Nashville, Tennessee on December 20, 2015, she was 74 years old. Daughter of the late Lucy M. and Albert S. Lemen, she was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 7, 1941.
A high school athlete she graduated from Clayton High School and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. Most of her adulthood was spent in Corpus Christi and Houston, Texas. She retired professional staffer with the Greater Houston Ara Chapter, American Red Cross, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Circle of Friends Book Club, New Neighbors League, and The Martin Center of Brentwood, Tennessee; she was an avid bridge player and world traveler in retirement. She leaves behind many good friends in Texas, Missouri, and Nashville.
Barbara is preceded in death by her brother, John R. Lemen of Los Angeles, California, and sister, Lucy A. Faust of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Survived by son, and daughter-in-law, Richard M. “Rick” and Wendy Witzeman Hosto; grandson, Leland M. Hosto of Brentwood, Tennessee; and numerous family members in Missouri, California, Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later.
