Barbara Ann Lawson, age 94, of Donelson, passed away into the arms of Christ on August 23, 2026. Born on April 26, 1932 in Pike County, KY, to Polly and Carl Hunt. Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother and follower of Christ. She loved her position, as well as the children she hauled, as a Metro School Bus Driver for 17yrs.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Lawson, and several siblings. She is survived by daughter Donna Stanley, son Jerry Finley (Amber), granddaughter Gypsy Matlack (Matt), and two great grandsons Christian Von Wellsheim and Bryson Von Wellsheim, great great grandson, Brantley Von Wellsheim.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
