Barbara and her family were good  neighbors for 43 years out in Scottland acres. She was a good Lioness member and I will miss her hawing her tray of pies at the UDM days music festival this year. Mike and Family please accept our deepest sympathy!

Barbara was a dear friend.  My husband and I were the first people in Murfreesboro that she and Shel met when they came to look for a house.  We both became Lioness Club charter members and have been involved ever since.  Her Dad Izzy and my husband worked for the same company so that brought us closer. Barbara was a dear sweet person and one of the reasons I became a member of the Lioness Club. She had such an open, friendly, welcoming nature about her. I wish I had the opportunity to know her in her earlier years.  She will certainly be missed.  My symapthy to the family in the loss of this great woman.

I met Barbara through her late husband, Sheldon, at Service Merchandise. When I worked at Hickory Hollow mall running Zales and Dillard's Jewelry in the 1980s we visited often. Barbara was a good person, a loyal friend and fiercely supportive of her family. She had a wicked sense of humor and dearly loved and lived life to it's fullest. I am blessed to have known her.

When I first moved to the area in 2012 and went to The Temple, I was greeted and welcomed immediately by Barbara.  She was a special guest at my wedding, sitting at the family table.  She will be sorely missed!

Barbara was such a dear lady.  She was so welcoming to me when I joined the family. I loved her passion for life, her charitable nature, her sincere love for her family and friends. I found her delightful.  Barbara and I shared in our love of Alabama Football, I know she must have been pleased at this last season.  I adored anytime I had with Barbara and Scott and I will dearly miss her.

Barbara was such a generous woman who was always the first to visit others in the hospital or stay with family to help while they recovered from an illness or injury. She did not always have an easy time in life, and yet she smiled and shared her joy with others easily. She will surely be missed at family gatherings.
