Barry James Williams

WILLIAMS, Barry James, age 66, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2011, with his loving wife by his side. Barry served in the United States Army. He was a sales rep for S&S sales, based in Birmingham. Barry loved his family, friends, the ocean, deep sea fishing, golf, football and all other sports. Barry was passionate, involved and contributed to the Nashville Men's Mission. Barry was loved by all that had the honor of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his father James Williams. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah, mother Rosa, brother James Williams (Stella ), sister Patricia VanConant (Steve), daughter Laura Rose Civilikas (Robert), son Gregory and godson Michael Wrape. Grandchildren, Kelcey, Christopher and Alicen, and many loving nieces and nephews. Service will be at New Hope Community Church, 605 Wilson Pike,Brentwood, TN 37027, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 am, with visitation Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at Marshall Donnelly Combs funeral home, 201 25th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37203. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made in Barry’s name to Linda’s Hope, research for pancreatic cancer, 3712 Woodmont Lane, Nashville, TN 37215.
