Although Betty Sue, Stan, and their children always lived in Green Hills, she was very proud of her Old Hickory roots. She was passionate about tennis. She played at Richland Country Club and Westside Athletic Club. She was a member of the 1995 Nashville USTA tennis team that won the National Tournament. She loved music. She will be remembered for her love of soul, R&B, and Rod Stewart. She also had an amazing eye for fashion and antiques. She never missed any of their school events or sports. You could always hear Betty Sue cheering in the stands, or spot her walking the sidelines. As her children grew, she continued to be supportive of their professional endeavors. She was always one to encourage, motivate, and challenge her children and Lilli to strive be the very best at whatever you do. She attended Spero Dei Church.
