Born on April 21, 1931, in Elora, Tennessee, Betty married the love of her life, Joe Edd Cunningham, at the age of 16. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love, making their home in Donelson for nearly 70 years.

Later in life, Betty became one of the pioneering women in automobile sales during her 12-year career at Two Rivers Ford, earning numerous awards as one of the dealership’s top salespeople. Outside of work, she had a lifelong love for music. Whether singing with family, performing at the American Legion or the VFW, Betty brought joy wherever she went. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant personality made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Flossie; her sisters, Pauline and Jimmie; her beloved husband, Joe Edd Cunningham; and her sons, Billy Joe Cunningham and Jeffrey Cunningham. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Richard); her grandchildren, Tommy (Jennifer), Rachel (Patrick), and Randy; her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Waylon, Lizzy, Luke, Logan, and Daniel; and many extended family members and dear friends.
