Betty Greene

GREENE, Betty Ann - Age 81 of Madison, passed away on October 16, 2012. The Lord needed another angel in Heaven to sing in his choir. Betty was the perfect wife to Don for 63 1/2 years and the Wonderful Mother of three Blessed daughters, Diane Hooker (Steve), Donna Greene and Tina Greene. Grandmother to Michael Ragland (Jeannie), Misty Ragland and Joseph Hicks. Great Grandmother to Noah Ragland and Brady Hale and Cody Hale. Betty was a member of the Joy Class at Grace Baptist Church. She loved her family and all her friends. The Lord is getting an angel that can sing with the best of the best. Oh what a voice...the windows will be rattling in Heaven. Daughter Donna welcomed her mother at the pearly gates and Heaven will never be the same...singing and rejoicing together. Betty's favorite song is "The King is Coming"...and He came for her. God bless her. Betty will be greatly missed by her family and friends; and by her husband forever. We love you! A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 with Bro. David Harbison and Bro. Ken Coleman officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be today from 4-8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Friday.
