Outside of teaching, Betty enjoyed traveling with friends to Caribbean islands and time at the beach in Florida with family. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
Special thanks to Betty's primary caretaker, Donna Jackson, along with Caroline George, Jackie Sneed, Ramona Wiggins and the care team from Alive Hospice.
