Betty Thompson Spears

She was the daughter of the late William Dayton and Eula Mae Vincent Thompson and widow of the late Herchel Guy Spears.

Betty was a homemaker all of her life and was a long time resident of the Nashville, TN area moving to North Carolina in 2002 to be near her family. She was a lifelong Christian and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son Guy Spears (Carol) of Pinehurst NC, Grandchildren: Shannon Spears Bowers (Robbie) , Jennifer Spears (Anthony McLaughlin) and Susan Spears Milligan. Great Grandchildren: Braden, Garris - Anne, Brett & Owen Bowers, Ramsey & Elise Milligan. Great Great Grandchild: Camden Bowers. Brother: Charles Thompson.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8PM Thursday February 23 at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Donelson, TN with a graveside service at 11 AM Friday February 24 at the Nashville National Cemetery in Madison, TN.
