I was Brett’s fraternity brother and friend while at the University of Alabama. He was a good friend and we shared a lot of laughs together. He will be missed but I will never forget him.

I’ll always remember you as a cute little brother of Sandra when I visited in your home during our Memphis State days.
I moved to Nashville in 2001 and always heard sweet stories from Sandra about your times together. You will be greatly missed! I like to think of you laughing with your mother over some joke or story and looking down on Sandra & I , who have stayed friends for over 50 years.

Brett was such a fun friend. He had the best smile and quick wit. He gave nice compliments and encouraging words and had a way of making someone feel good about themselves. He dressed sharply and looked fit. I have to smile when I think of all the good times we had together at dinners, parties, beach trips, football games, movies, fishing, golfing, tennis, basketball, Sunday school class events and even a couple of Vegas trips. My sympathies go out to his beautiful daughters, family, and friends. Thank you, Brett, for your friendship. Rest in peace, buddy.
