I was Corky's next door neighbor on Sue Lane in Panama City when he was a senior and I was a junior at Rutherford.  I remember Corky always made time to play with the young kids on the street, even though he was a big football hero in high school.  He was a true "gentle" man. He will always be in my memory. God keep him in the Palm of His hand.

To the family of Britt "Corky" Skrivanek...I was a good friend of Corky's at Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida.  We had many good times hunting and fishing together at Tyndall AFB. Sometimes 'double dated' in his maroon Renault Dauphin!  He was a gentleman in every sense and a credit to his Gator team and his Delta Tau Delta fraternity.  You will be missed.

We attended Rutherford High School with Corky. His passing is very sad news to us. We send our sympathy to his family.  Rest In Peace.

Patty, Buford and I are very sorry to hear of your loss.  We admired Britt and enjoyed every minute we spent with him.  Britt always had a smile and was fun to be with.  We will miss him stopping in to visit us at Three Rivers Storage.

Patty, I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Not only did he provide professional guidance and support, he took on the roll of protector when we were in a new town for an industry function. I'll never forget the first ALSSA show I attended in Alabama. Britt invited me to join your family for dinner at some oyster dive. I really felt like a part of your family that night. Over the last five years I can say that I never saw him without you at his side. I'm sure that you will be lost without him.

I am so sad to hear of Britt's passing.  He was part of our Owens family and as much as I will miss him in this world, mom and dad (Betty Ann and Bobo Owens) will miss him more.  Our family has loved Britt since we met him down in Gainesville during the Gator glory days of 1967-70.  Being from Panama City, and us from Wewa, we counted him as one of our own.  Loved #81, Sky Rack. My condolences to you, Patty, his children and grandchildren.  The world has been a better place having had Britt for as long as it did.

A sadness fills my heart to know that Britt has left us.  Seeing his face and sweet smile at my office door would truly lift my spirit.  Britt had that unique ability to change the atmosphere of an entire room.  His care and kindness poured out like a ray of sunshine.  I feel privileged to have known him.

Patty & Family, Played football with Britt as a Gator. Unique character that once you met him you would never forget him. One helluva a football player. May you cherish his memory for all time.

Patty, my family was blessed by you and Britt for bringing Carrie into this world.  I will truly miss him as he was a great man and a wonderful Grandfather!!  He is the only person in this world that I would say "Go Gators" for (and you know he made me say it more than once).  Much love and prayers to you and the entire family.

Oh, what beautiful pictures, Patty!  Thank you for being such a wonderful wife to him for all those years.  God bless the entire family in our time of grief.

Britt was one of the true gentlemen of this world and a good friend. I will forever admire him for his business ethics, integrity and acumen and his extraordinary personal character. I loved Britt.

One of the most agressive and ferocious players on defense from 67 to 69, along with Jack Youngblood, Mike Healey and Tom Abdulnour.

Coaches would tell him to save his aggresiveness for the game, as he would be just as aggressive with his teammates during practices. He was an amazing defensive player.

During and after games, you could expect Britt to come away bloodied and bruised. He played football as if there were no tomorrow. Off the field, he was one of the nicest men you could ever hope to meet.

You are in our prayers, so sorry for your loss.
