Mr. Bryan Eugene Hubbard, Age 94 of LaVergne, TN, went home to be with the Lord, May 5, 2021. He was born in Mango, Florida. He proudly served in World War II and was in the Naval Reserve until age 60. He loved his family very much. Above all, Bryan loved the Lord. He was very active in his church directing choirs, teaching Sunday School, and serving as a Deacon and an Elder. He loved music, especially Southern Gospel. He was a gifted musician playing the piano, guitar, and many other instruments. He enjoyed singing and composing music. He loved building and making things with his hands. Bryan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Beulah Hubbard; daughters, Diane Chaney and Pam Ormseth; and siblings, William, Glennie, Louise, Elmer, and James.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Carolyn Hubbard; children, Nancy (Doug) Johnson, Bryan Hubbard, Jr., and Christy (Robert) Arnold; grandchildren, Casey (Kevin) Evans, Shelley (Timmy) Holloway, David (Kim) Floyd, Travis (Jessie) Ormseth, Ethan Ormseth, Lana Ormseth, Megan Snyder, Kamren Snyder, and Kayleigh Snyder; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Living Springs Baptist Church located at 4559 Weakley Lane in Mount Juliet on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00PM with Reverend Edgar Boles officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park located at 660 Thompson Lane in Nashville.
