Caroline Bartlett Webb, age 95, passed away June 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents William Vann Bartlett and Gladys Allison Bartlett (Birmingham, AL), her husband James Arrington Webb, Jr., her son William Vann Bartlett Webb (Billy) and grandsons James Webb Bass and William Vann Bartlett Webb Jr. (Vann). Caroline and Jimmy were married for almost 64 years before his death in 2009.
Survivors include daughter Allison Webb Bass (Frank), son James Arrington Webb III (Becky), daughter-in-law Nancy Green Webb, grandchildren Frank Bass III (Tricia), Caroline Carter Bass, James A. (Jay) Webb, IV (Tayler), Christopher Harris Webb, Charles Richard Webb and Neel Webb Young (Graham). Her eight great-grandchildren are Neva Bass, Frank Bass IV, Edwin Bass, Bryan Bass, Caroline Young, Hayes Young, Abby Webb and James A. Webb, V.
Caroline was an alumna of the University of Alabama where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She served on the Boards of the Junior League of Nashville and the West End Home for Ladies. In addition to these memberships she was a member of the Centennial Club, Colonial Dames of America, the James K. Polk Association and the Hermitage Association.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where a memorial service will be held on June 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. At a later date a graveside service will be held in the Memorial Garden at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William Vann Webb Scholarship Fund at Montgomery Bell Academy, 4001 West End Avenue, Nashville 37205, First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville 37220 or the charity of one’s choice.
