Mrs. Carolyn Irene Carter age 74, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Mrs. Carter was born in Paris, TN, on January 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Ace Cole and Iris Riley Cole. She retired as a school teacher and was a member of Granny White Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Jere Carter; two sons, Cole Granville Carter (Kimberly Diane) and Christopher Grey Carter (Melanie Marie); and six grandchildren, Noah, Levi, Madeline, Anagail, Iris, and Gideon Carter. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock and Thursday one hour prior to service at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
