Carolyn Sue Jordan passed away on May 2, 2018. Carolyn was born September 1, 1945 in Welch, WV to Walter Eugene and Delphia Cline White. She is preceded in death by parents; siblings, William White and Glenna Martin; and granddaughter, Neely Sue Davenport.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Jordan; daughters, Julie (Steve) Davenport and Jill (Jon) Cooper; grandchildren, Faith Davenport, Emily Cooper and Olivia Cooper; brothers, Richard (Pauline) White and Thomas (Kay) White; and sisters, Patricia (Jim) Keefer, Kathy (Mark) Holst and Becky (Fred) Panashy.
Carolyn was a graduate of Trevecca University and MTSU. She was a devoted elementary school teacher for 36 years in the Metro School System. She was a long-time member of Community Bible Church. She and beloved husband Bill would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in July.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 4 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock in the evening, and one hour prior to service on Sunday at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018, at two-thirty in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
