Carolyn Crawford Roberts

Carolyn was born on October 30, 1934 in Decatur, GA, the daughter of the late William and Marion Crawford. She attended Auburn University, where she was a Phi Mu and met her husband Zeb. Carolyn was a long time member of Hillwood Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the 9-Hole Ladies Golf Group at Hillwood Country Club, her investment club, the Suburbia Garden Club and the local DAR chapter.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clarence Z. Roberts; her daughter, Janice Roberts; brother, Edgar Crawford.

Survivors include her children, Steve Roberts, Leslie (John) Southwood and Wes (Laurie) Roberts; grandchildren, John Southwood III, Allyson Southwood and Lexie Paige Dierker; brother, William Crawford, Jr.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Woodcrest and Burton Court at the Blakeford.

Graveside services will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

A Gathering of friends will be held for one hour prior to service time at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillwood Presbyterian Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
