At the age of 96 Carrie Sue Griggs passed away on June 19, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the widow of Buford Aubrey Griggs who was a chief Petty Officer in the navy for twenty years. As a couple they shared many adventurous years traveling around the world with Dad's navy finally retiring in Nashville. Sue went on to pursue a thirty year career with the Tennessee Department of Education and was a member of the Eastern Stars and the Methodist church. Known as "Aunt Pete" and Granny, she surrounded herself with her loud and loving family. Survived by her three children, Jacque Rigsby (Lyn), Rachel Keen (Michael) Gregory Griggs (Brenda), she lived a full life with her family which grew to six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Carrie Sue Pulley Griggs, Mom, Granny, "Aunt Pete", was lively to the end and will be sorely missed by all. Salute!
