Charles Ronald Culberson

NASHVILLE – Ron Culberson set out on his heavenly train ride through the cosmos after 86 years on Monday, July 20, 2026. He was a retired state of Tennessee employee with 38 years of service. He will be lovingly remembered and always in our hearts. A proud father to Keith Culberson(Jeff), Kathy Cottrell(Rickey) and Kip Culberson(Jennifer): an adoring grandfather to Heather Jones(Chris) and Laci Richmond(Blake) & great grandfather to Avery, Cooper, Lincoln, Charlotte and Harper. He was a devoted older brother to each of his three younger brothers, Larry(Roberta), David(Lynette) and Mike. He asserted strength & conviction as well as passion & empathy, until his final days. His kindness & service to the Lord and his church has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Quetta of 62 years who was standing by with his golden ticket for his most epic train trip.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Grace Place,Hermitage with visitation from 2:00-4:00pm and service to follow at 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to Camp Overton c/o Cheyenne Borens – Treasurer @ 333 Keel Hollow Road, Dover, TN 37058. Camp Overton was one of his many passions, where he served 3 terms on the Board of Directors along with the History of the Church of God ,Anderson where he served on the state executive committee.
