Buddy was a graduate of Gordon Lee High School. He pursued a career in acting, sharing his talents with audiences through his work at Nashville Children’s Theatre and Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre. His passion for the performing arts was an important part of his life, allowing him to express his creativity and bring joy to others. Outside of acting, Buddy enjoyed hiking and spending time outdoors.
In 2013, Buddy married Joel Langlois in Washington, D.C. Together, they shared a meaningful chapter of his life.
Buddy leaves behind cherished memories with his spouse, Joel Langlois; brother, Miles Raper; and those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His love for the arts, appreciation for nature, and the memories he created will be fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, US, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:30 pm with burial to follow.
